Overview of Programs

At Cordoba Care Bears Preschool, we cater to children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years. Our hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sat-Wed. We have two different programs: three day program (Sat, Mon and Wed) and full time program (Sat-Wed). We continually revise and update each facet of our program to maintain quality and service.

Toddler II

The Toddler II program, promotes the child's development of imagination and language. The children in this group are encouraged to speak in sentences, listen to short stories, identify colors, numbers, shapes and begin to recognize individual letters of the alphabet. This program is designed to promote independence, cooperation and mutual respect.

Preschoolers

The Preschool program focuses on the development of pre-reading and writing skills such as recognizing the child's name in print and developing phonetic awareness . Depending on the child's readiness, children are introduced to an early reading program. Motor skills are continuously developed through both indoor and outdoor hands-on activities. Emphasis is placed on the individual child's readiness for school in a variety of areas of learning.
